Tech and telecom executive Sunil Prashara joins the Project Management Institute immediately as CEO. He is founder of a London-based sales accelerator for digital startups.

The National Electrical Contractors Association hired its board president as CEO. David Long starts in his new role April 1.

Michael Philipps takes over as president of the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association March 8. He succeeds Robert Garbini, retiring after 27 years with NRMCA.

John Clark plans to retire Dec. 31 as CEO of BICSI. Members of the Tampa, Fla.-based group include information and communications technology professionals.

The Manufactured Housing Institute announced Dick Jennison will retire Dec. 31, after 8 years as CEO.

Cam Mackey, longtime executive with Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, starts March 18 as executive director of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals.

Former Senate Judiciary staffer Garrett Levin was named CEO of the Digital Media Association. Levin joins DiMA from the National Association of Broadcasters.

Jody Levison-Johnson started March 4 as CEO of the Council on Accreditation. The New York City-based group accredits human services providers.

More interim leaders got the nod to stay on with their groups as CEO. Barton James was officially announced as CEO of the Air Conditoning Contractors of America. Kristy Weinshel was named executive director of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.

In the GR and public affairs arena: PhRMA alum Jonathan Kimball joins the Association for Accessible Medicines as VP, trade and international affairs. Former Iowa state Sen. Jeff Danielson, who resigned his seat in February, will lead state policy efforts for the American Wind Energy Association in the Midwest and Plains. Carl Schonander was promoted to SVP of global public policy at the Software & Information Industry Association, succeeding retiring Mark MacCarthy.

Other D&A news: The American Farm Bureau Federation announced Kathleen Cullins as the group's new CFO; she has been VP of finance at the American Chemical Society. Glenn Shimkus was named VP of strategy and innovation at the National Association of Realtors. Angie Briggs joins the U.S. Travel Association as VP of industry relations. Rochelle Richardson was named SVP of expositions and events at AVIXA—The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association. Kelly Denson joins the Association of American Publishers as senior director of education and training.
